While San Diego tap water meets legal regulations, it’s important to keep in mind that legal does not necessarily equal safe. In a recent study, the Environmental Working Group (EWG) identified 16 contaminants within San Diego drinking water that exceeded health guidelines. Many of these contaminants have potential links to serious illnesses such as cancer.
