I discovered I needed to replace a 17 year old tank water heater after SDG&E tested it for a gas leak (this was after the house was tented for termite fumigation). We searched for a plumber focused on water heaters.
We interviewed five and we settled on JG Water Heaters. It was a no brainer — they were one of the first to get back to us, friendly, and refreshingly non-condescending. Gregg (one of the owners) was a pleasure to work with. He took his time on a Saturday to explain everything and all the options to us. He didn't charge us for the visit unlike others out there. The clincher was a very fair quote that was significantly more competitive than estimates from other 5 star contractors.
On install day, Christian showed up on time and ready to get to work. He treated my home with respect and appeared to take pride in his work. He was thorough, checked and rechecked his connections, and at the end of the day left an installation that was clean and professional looking.
I recommend Gregg and his team at JG. Don't let his easy going attitude fool you — he knows his stuff and does great work. When we're ready to install our water softener next year, we're not wasting time looking for quotes — we're calling these guys.

Josh was very polite, on time and let me know when he was on the way. Did an amazing job showing and explaining to me everything that was swapped out and why. Highly recommend!!!

Tankless Water Heater. My call was answered promptly, the response was fast, the staff courteous and clean, the install was done professionally with care. The price was fair.
